Large mid-century slatted wood barrel armchair
An elegant and substantial mid-century ‘barrel’ armchair to add a clean look to any room. This chair is extremely comfortable and roomy. Arms have a slight curve upwards and outwards that make the lines very beautiful. Cushions have been reupholstered with woolen haik material. Haiks are six meter long continuous lengths of hand woven material (wool, cotton or silk) that women one hundred years ago and more, would wrap around their entire body as a seamless outer garment. One can still see older women dressed in haik in Essaouira. We have three in stock.
