Tamegroute, a village on the edge of the Sahara, is home to seven families, each with their own wood burning oven, who have been crafting this unique pottery for generations. The glazing and firing process give way to the unique textured green of tamegroute ceramics. This sizable vase has four handles up top with a coiled design. Vase in good vintage condition with some wear around handles (see photo).
